When it comes to capturing the magic of weddings at Braeside Estate, Elly from Green & Wandering Photography is a first choice for many couples. As one of the estate’s preferred vendors, Elly was offered the opportunity to set up a photography stall at Braeside Estates’ New Pavilion Open Day. She came to me for help in bringing her vision to life, and together, we created a photography stall that truly embodied the brand of Green & Wandering.
Keeping It On Brand
Elly and I shared the same vision for her photography stall. Our brief was simple, sophisticated & effective while keeping it as budget friendly as possible. We knew that the open day would host a plethora of beautiful wedding stylists with their own stalls, so we wanted to create a space that not only complemented the stunning setting but also stayed true to the Green & Wandering brand.
Vision
First I drew a sketch of our vision and our next step was to seek some real life inspiration, and where better to go than Pinterest? We scoured through various boards and images to however we didn’t find any photography stall images that were aligned with our vision, so we just pinned some arbour styles that we liked to hang the gallery in and created a simple mood board on Canva with the images we were going to hang.
Custom-Made Frame
To display Elly’s favourite photographs, we needed a frame. We searched through event hire companies but couldn’t find anything that quite suited our vision and requirements. So, we decided to go the extra mile and had a frame custom-made. Luckily, we had a contact who made it at a great price for us. The frame was designed to create a centrepiece gallery, and we used fishing wire to hang her stunning photographs from the centre. Although it was a bit tedious, the result was worth effort.
On-Brand Floral Arrangements
Floral arrangements played a crucial role in adding a touch of nature and softness to our stall. We carefully selected flowers and foliage that suited Elly’s logo & brand. The arrangements added a fragrant aroma to the stall, making it even more inviting.
Plinths & Flameless Candles
To create additional display space, we rented some plinths and adorned them with various wedding-related props and Green & Wandering merchandise. We also picked up flameless candles from Spotlight to add a cozy, warm glow to the stall. These small details made a significant difference in the overall ambiance.
Gift Bags
What better way to leave a lasting impression on visitors? Each bag included beautifully designed brochures showcasing Elly’s photography services, delicious branded cookies that added a personal touch and memorable flavour, eco-friendly packaging, personalised thank-you notes, and contact information for easy follow-up. These carefully curated keepsakes not only enhanced the guest experience but also served as a tangible reminder of the day, leaving couples with a sweet and lasting connection to Green & Wandering’s photography services. We utilised a bar cart Elly already owned to display these next to the stall.
A Perfect Garden Backdrop
As the day of the open event arrived, we were thrilled with the result. The lush garden backdrop of Braeside Estates perfectly complemented our stall, enhancing the natural and rustic feel we aimed to achieve. Visitors were drawn to the Green & Wandering booth, captivated by its aesthetic appeal.
Booking Success
The effort we put into styling the photography stall paid off in a big way. Elly’s stall attracted a steady stream of visitors throughout the open day, and she even booked numerous weddings on the spot. It was a testament to the power of thoughtful design and staying true to the brand’s essence.
Styling a photography stall for Braeside Estates’ New Pavilion Open Day was such a fun & creative journey, one that perfectly embodied the Green & Wandering brand. Elly’s photography stall not only stood out but also resonated with couples looking for a wedding photographer who could capture the beauty of nature & romance. This collaborative effort was a testament to the power of vision, passion and creativity.
