Some mornings unfold with a quiet sense of significance, a feeling that you’re about to step into something rare. That was the atmosphere as I entered Bulgari’s private Travelling High Jewellery presentation: soft lighting, muted tones, and masterpieces displayed with the reverence they deserve.

What struck me instantly was not simply the brilliance of the jewels, but the emotion they carried. Bulgari’s pieces have a presence — unapologetically bold yet undeniably elegant.
I’ve always been drawn to serpent symbolism, especially the way Bulgari interprets it: powerful, alluring, feminine, and eternal.

One of the most unforgettable moments was trying on a pendant and a timepiece centered around authentic Roman coins from the 2nd century BC. Feeling a piece of history against my skin — something that existed centuries before my time — sent a wave of emotion through me. The weight of it was subtle yet significant, a quiet reminder of how art and history can intersect in the most beautiful ways. It’s extraordinary how an object can make you feel simultaneously grounded and transported.

The morning unfolded with an effortless elegance. A beautifully arranged morning tea of delicate pastries, savoury bites, coffee, and of course champagne, made the entire viewing feel even more special. It wasn’t just an exhibition; it was an experience curated with intention.

The Serpenti pieces, as always, captivated me instantly. Fluid. Sculptural. Instantly transformative. There’s a reason the serpent motif has become synonymous with Bulgari; in person, it feels alive and powerful.

Each jewel seemed to tell its own story, through colour, movement, and the way it interacted with the body. And in that softly lit space, surrounded by pieces that carried both history and artistry, I felt a deep sense of appreciation for beauty, for symbolism, and for the natural treasures of the Earth.

A heartfelt thank you to @empireofthesnake for creating an unforgettable, educational and beautifully curated experience.
